Pubcon 2012 Las Vegas Technology Tour

Come take a guided tour of Tony Hsieh’s (Zappos.com CEO) Las Vegas Downtown Project and also take a guided tour of the world class SwitchNAP Data Center. The cost of the tour is $15.
Shuttle Bus Transportation will take the guests from the Las Vegas Convention Center to the Switch data Center for the first part of the tour.
The Switch data center will be giving the group a 1h:15m tour of their massive world class data center.
Next, the group will depart the Switch Data Center and head towards the heart of the Downtown Vegas where the Tech Fund buildings and community are located. The staff of the Las Vegas Downtown Project & Vegas Tech Fund will be giving the group a 1 hour tour of the key businesses and community that make up the project.
TOUR DATE: Wednesday October 17th
COST: $15
ATTENDANCE: This event is limited to 25 people and requires an invitation to attend.
REQUIREMENTS: All attendees must be paid and signed up by Monday, October 15th.
All attendees must bring a valid state ID on the tour.
Please Note: The Switch Data Center is a SECURE facility and they will require all attendees to have an ID to enter the facility. Also, tour attendees must sign a release waiver and sign an agreement not to take unauthorized photographs inside of the switch data center.

6:45 to 7:15 drive to downtown Vegas
7:15: to 7:30 meet in front of The Beat Coffeehouse
7:30 to 8:30 tour of the “Las Vegas Downtown Project”
The tour will end in downtown Las Vegas. There are dining and drink options in the downtown area, as well as events such as the Fremont st. experience. Return transportation is not included. Taxi fare to return to the main Las Vegas strip will cost from approx $20 – $30 depending on where you are staying, traffic, etc.
